This young lady was a pleasure to photograph! My clients are typically families, maternity, babies, and children so it was nice to do something a little different here. Not only did she pose and smile just like I asked, but I didn't have to bribe her with candy and bubbles! Much easier work for me ;)

I really love Sunflowers! I'm so happy there are a few fields in the Charlotte area where photographers are welcomed (as long as we don't damage any of the crop). Since they bloom around July and only last a few weeks, I feel very lucky to photograph them this year. Hopefully next year as well :)

Maternity in the Sunflowers | Concord, NC Photographer

July is the month for Sunflowers in NC. The organizer of the local photography group showed us this location and I love it!! I am going to use it again next year for sure. I'm happy we went the day we did because the flowers were in full bloom, just like this momma here. "M" is one of the photographers in this group and she kindly modeled for us. I love the look of the big blooms with the beautiful belly!

If anyone is interested in a sunflower session next year, the first couple of weeks in July is best as long as the fields get enough rain next year.
